Geokosmos has successfully completed a large oil and gas project for the interests of Nadymgazprom, one of the subsidiaries of Gazprom, the world’s largest gas company which possesses the richest natural gas reserves on the globe. Nadymgazprom is the third company in the Gazprom system in terms of the hydrocarbon production.

In June 2006 Geokosmos carried out surveying project in Ghana for the gold mining industry - the key exporter of this West African country. Geokosmos has been successfully conducting surveying works for different industries of Ghana for three years already. Now Geokosmos extended its activity to new market segment - the gold mining industry.

03.02.2006 Geokosmos is a Pioneer in the Full-Scale Digital Aerial Camera Acquisition in Russia
Geokosmos Company has announced its acquisition of the UltraCAM-D digital aerial topographic camera, a Vexcel Imaging (Austria) product. The purchase is unique due to the fact, that the Ultra-CAM-D is the pioneer full-scale digital aerial camera with the high resolution rate (86,25 mega pixel) which will be used within the territory of the former Soviet Union states.

Geokosmos participated in the largest annual conference and trade fair world-wide for Geodesy, Geoinformatics and Land Management INTERGEO 2005 which was held in Dusseldorf, 4-6 October, 2005. The Conference slogan “Crossing the boundaries” reflected in the best way the importance of the event and its international status. This year the record number of exhibitors (515 companies) from 24 countries introduced geodetic surveying instruments, surveying accessories and supplies, hardware and software for Photogrammetry and Cartography, Remote Sensing software, Terrestrial Laser Scanning, Airborne Laser Scanning, GIS-software, Location Based Services, Internet GIS and Enquiry Systems.
