INTERGEO 2007 - Geokosmos participation will not be forgotten

Since 2004 Geokosmos Company has been participating at the world largest trade-fair for Geodesy, Geoinformatics and Land Management INTERGEO. Russian by origin but international by nature of its activities, the Company is involved into LiDAR and digital aerial photography projects all over the world. Geokosmos owns the biggest state-of-the-art equipment pool in Europe, its personnel gained great experience from the works performed in many countries. That is why INTERGEO exhibition is the right place for the Company to demonstrate its achievements, to meet existing customers and find new ones. This year Geokosmos exhibition stand showcased the best of the Company’s developments, the scope of services and activities. Probably, that booth design was mostly impressive and attractive for whole history of the Company‘s participation at the trade-fair. Geokosmos commercial and technical advantages, professionalism of employees, booth design – all together resulted in the successful Company participation at INTERGEO. The number of meetings and negotiations with potential customers during the exhibition formed a good basis for Geokosmos international activities in the future.

The second day of INTERGEO 2007 came to be a real surprise for everyone as it was marked by an outsmashing rock-concert performed by Geokosmos Band. People learned that Sergey Melnikov, Geokosmos Group of Companies President, and other Geokosmos employees have got rather diverse interests and apart from being involved into Photogrammentry, Laser Scanning and other Geodesy and Geoinformatics related issues, they devote their free time to music, and music on a professional level. All the people who attended the show enjoyed world famous rock-hits and the Russian vodka served with refreshments. Streams of people were flowing from other exhibition stands where parties were organized to join Geokosmos. The concert started at 6.30 p.m. and within fifteen-minute time people already were dancing, swinging and singing together with Geokosmos Band.
