Geokosmos Company of Moscow, Russia, has declared delegation of all the rights on supplying and distribution of Trimble`s and Riegl`s surveying devices and instruments to GeoPolygon Company (Moscow, Russia), Optech`s airborne lidar systems and Applanix`s position and orientation systems to GeoLIDAR (Moscow, Russia).
GeoPolygon gets all the rights on supplying and distribution of Trimble`s global positioning systems and optical surveying devices, Riegl`s terrestrial laser scanners, and Ohmex`s hydrographic surveying systems all over Russia. Mr. Sergey Kotov is a new appointed President of GeoPolygon. ”The principal goal, says Sergey Kotov, is to combine Geokosmos`s great reputation, rich experience and traditions with the new company`s innovative promotion techniques of high quality surveying instruments”.
Customer Support will be provided by the Russia`s most modern Trimble and Riegl Service centers, which have become parts of GeoPolygon.
GeoLIDAR top management commented: “Optech`s airborne laser scanners ALTM, SHOALS, Applanix`s position and orientation systems is very complicated high-tech equipment, that requires special recourses. This company has been specially established for this purpose”. Service centers of Optech Inc. and Applanix Corp. are currently parts of GeoLIDAR.
“Within our five-year quality program Geokosmos will concentrate on surveying and mapping as well as on improving the company`s competitiveness abroad.
